exploring yellowstone country with the whole family is an easy affair at the hatchet resort. besides the fact that few other lodging options are as conveniently poised for access to the top three regional destinations – yellowstone and grand teton national parks and the town of jackson – the hatchet offers something for people of all ages. it’s kid-friendly yet adults will find all the amenities they need.

for children, the hatchet features a playground. a 14-person hot tub has room for even large families. the resort also welcomes families who bring their pets on vacation. at the hatchet resort we are dog friendly.

families can arrange any number of activities directly from the resort. the hatchet offers guided tours of yellowstone park or day or overnight horseback rides in the park. be sure to spend some time checking out the area right around the hatchet. guests can arrange through the resort to go fly-fishing or mountain biking on the adjacent bridger-teton national forest. they can also rent a canoe, take a horseback ride in the immediate area, or find “big-game” wildlife-watching.
