the hatchet’s facilities – log accommodations with phones and televisions, large grassy areas, the hatchet grill, a huge hot tub, a general store with gas, and recreational guides – ensure that guests don’t have to leave the resort unless they want to. with the addition of a new conference and reception facility known as the "whetstone" in 2002, the hatchet also hosts business meetings, small conferences, church retreats, family reunions, weddings and other events. you won't have to leave the rest of the world behind as we are hi tech in the wilderness offering high speed internet and wi-fi.

the hatchet resort is the site of a historic cattle ranch. with its surrounding land now preserved by a conservation easement, the resort backs up to the 3.4-million-acre bridger-teton national forest and it’s only a few miles from grand teton national park. yellowstone park’s south entrance is located a short 33-mile drive away through grand teton park. and world-class shopping is available 38 miles away in the town of jackson after driving along the teton range – one of the most scenic drives in the lower 48 states. wildlife are everywhere along this drive. we look forward to seeing you at the hatchet resort.
