with access to more than 800 miles of groomed trail right out the door and limitless access to some of the best powder riding in the world, the hatchet resort is a snowmobiler’s paradise. the continental divide snowmobile trail that heads into yellowstone national park passes right through the hatchet property. riders can also head east into national forest in the togwotee pass area for both groomed trails and the area’s famed off-trail powder riding.  click here to view our snowmobiling specials!
the hatchet offers snowmobile rentals with all of the necessary equipment included, as well as package deals including lodging. expert riders or people who have never been snowmobiling before are welcome at the hatchet. guests can hire a guide through the resort or head out on their own.
after a day in the saddle, settle into our huge hot tub before walking over to one of our two restaurants. later in the evening, enjoy the log cabin-style lounge, where you can sit in front of a roaring fire in the stone hearth.
